What is Octahub?
Octahub is an all-in-one platform for associations and organizations with many groups. It combines member management with groups or chapters, membership plans and payment processing via Stripe and PayPal, training content as video and PDF, and achievements such as gradings and certificates. Members use the free Octahub app for iOS and Android.
How much does Octahub cost?
Up to 10 members you pay a flat €4.99 per month. Beyond that, progressive tiers apply: €0.90 per member for members 11 to 100, €0.70 for members 101 to 250 and €0.50 from member 251 onwards. Storage is €0.05 per GB used. Example: 300 members and 1 GB cost €216.04 per month. Use the cost calculator to work out your price.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. You can try Octahub free and without obligation for 30 days with every feature. Payment details are collected at sign-up; if you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged.
Can group leaders manage their own group?
Yes. You create groups or chapters under your organization and assign each group a group leader who manages that group. The organization keeps the overview of members and cash flows.
How does achievement-based content delivery work?
You link videos, PDFs and offers to achievements, for example a grading or attending a seminar. Achievements can be a precondition for an offer or its outcome. Every member sees exactly the content that matches their level.
Which payment methods can my members use?
Octahub uses Stripe for payment processing. You can offer your members Stripe and PayPal as payment methods. Offer prices can differ by membership type.
Do my members need an app?
Members access content, achievements and their digital membership card in the free Octahub app, available on the App Store and Google Play.
Is there a chat for groups?
Yes, optionally. The organization owner can enable a group chat for individual groups. It supports text messages to the group, announcements from the organization and direct messages between members. New messages trigger a push notification. The chat runs in the Octahub app and is included in every tier at no extra cost.
Is Octahub only for martial arts?
Octahub is specifically tailored to the needs of martial arts organizations, but not limited to them. It fits any organization that organizes members in groups, manages membership fees and shares knowledge in a structured way.
Can I bring my existing members?
Yes. You can invite members into groups individually or import several at once.
Can I offer different fees, for example by country, discipline or age group?
Yes. You create as many membership plans as you need, each with its own price, monthly or annual. For example, separate fees for adults and kids, one plan per discipline, or country prices that reflect different purchasing power. Every member is assigned to exactly one plan. Plans can be set up in euros, US dollars and Canadian dollars; further currencies can be added.
